The Quick Christmas Dessert That is Sure to Bring Holiday Cheer!
Although there are plenty of Pinterest pictures and recipes out there for the dessert that I am about to give you, I believe that I was the first to “invent” this recipe 🙂 It is so easy and people won’t believe just how easy after they taste how delicious this is!
PEPPERMINT PATTIE BROWNIES!
Ingredients:
Ghirardelli Chocolate Brownie Mix (You can be experimental with this and try your own brownie recipe. I have yet to find a brownie recipe from scratch that tastes as good as this mix, and it makes the whole process easier!)
1 Egg
1/3 Cup Canola Oil
1 Bag of Peppermint Patties
[These are the measurements for an 8×8 pan. If you want thicker brownies or are using a 9×13, use 2 brownie mixes and double the other ingredients, as well. Add more peppermint patties as needed!]
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 325. Lightly grease baking pan or spray with non-stick cooking spray.
Beat 1 egg, 1/3 cup water, 1/3 cup oil in a mixing bowl. Add brownie mix and stir until well blended. Spread in prepared pan.
Break each peppermint pattie into 4 or more pieces. Press each small piece into the batter across the whole pan.
Bake for 40-45 minutes or until fully cooked. Let them cool. Cut and place on a fun Christmas platter. Take (quickly) to a Christmas party (before you eat the whole pan) and be prepared for them to be devoured 🙂
