Paper Flowers
This is one of my favorite crafts! I use these paper flowers as home decor, embellishments on other crafts and jewelry (you can also do this style with fabric), and it was the main craft piece in my wedding!
Supplies needed:
Scrapbook Paper
Scissors
Hot Glue Gun
Dowels (Optional)
Jars (Optional)
Instructions:
1. If using a 12×12 scrapbook page, you can make 4 flowers (2 big and 2 small) or you can make 1 very large flower. Start from one of the corners, and cut in a wave motion in the shape of a circle. When you get back at the start, go inside to continue cutting in a spiral.

I have cut two large ones and there is still room on the paper to cut out two more smaller circle spirals
2. Finish the spiral cut, leaving a circle at the end that will act as the foundation of the flower.
3. Start from the end and begin twisting the paper within itself. Twist it tightly.
4. When you finish the twist, let the tension out slightly.
5. Hold the flower from the top and the bottom, but allow the bottom layer to be out of the twist. That is where you will put the hot glue. Place the hot glue on the bottom circle and half way up the bottom layer.
6. Push the flower down on the hot glue keeping its twisted shape.
7. Once the glue has dried on the flowers, you can do so much more with them. You can attach them to dowels and put them in a jar or a fun soda bottle for a floral arrangement. You can hot glue wire on the back and twist them around a decorative tree or kiwi branches. Or you can put them all in a jar to make a unique decor piece in your home! Use all different colors of paper and patterns to make each flower stand out!
- Tah-dah! You now have a new decor piece in your home that was very cost effective, quick, and fun!
**Disclaimer: I apologize for the photo quality. The lighting in our home is horrible, which makes taking craft photos much more difficult!
Some other finished products with the paper flowers!

Used in the center pieces on each table at my wedding. These were attached to wire and wraped around kiwi branches

I also attached them with hot glue to rocks to be utilized at weights to keep things down since it ended up being much windier than expected
If you have any questions on any of the steps, do not hesitate to ask! Be creative with this and have fun!
How else could you use your paper flowers??
I might have to make some of these for my new niece ;p thanks bekah
