“Make Your Own Snack Bag” Activity
I had a fun snack activity at Elliana’s 2nd Birthday. (Birthday party post coming next week!).
This “make your own snack bag” activity was great for Elliana’s toddler friends because it incorporated food (a toddler favorite!), making choices (I know my toddler loves to choose), and our polka-dot/circle theme.
I chose circle shaped foods to stay with the theme, and we did all nut-free snacks since Elliana has one friend who has a nut allergy.
Supplies:
Freezer size zip lock bags. 1 per snack.
Snack size zip lock bags. 1 per child.
Dixie cups. A few per snack back for scooping snacks into their snack bags.
Sharpie pens. Use for writing the name of the snack on the freezer bags and leave out for parents to write children’s names on their snack bags so they can keep track of their own bag.
Snacks!
Our snacks:
Banana chips
Round pretzels
Raisins
Cheerios
Dried Apricots
Kix Cereal
Yogurt Raisins
Dried Cranberries
M & Ms
This craft/activity is easy to do and would be a great Thanksgiving day activity for kids. You can keep them busy and happily fed while they are waiting for Thanksgiving dinner.
Here are a few ideas to make it Fall themed or incorporate Fall colors:
Candy Corn
Cheerios
Goldfish crackers
Dried cranberries
Raisins
Yogurt Raisins
Fall bag of M & Ms
Chex cereal or Chex mix
Nuts or trail mix
Animal crackers
Pretzels
Teddy Grahams
Flavored nuts
Fruit snacks
Marshmallows
This activity was adapted from a playgroup craft at Fit4Mom Temecula Valley.
Cute idea 😀
I love this idea! So fun and yummy!
