Heart Garland
Just in time for Valentine’s Day tomorrow is a fun craft to brighten your home with reds, pinks, and of course HEARTS!
I used the instructions from Strumpet’s Crumpets Valentine Paper Heart Chain.
- Supplies Needed:
- Colored Construction Paper (I used dark pink, light pink, and red)
- Ruler
- Scissors (or a paper cutter!)
- Stapler
- String or ribbon to hang your garland
Cut your paper into 1 inch strips. I cut four pieces of each color and had plenty of leftover.
Staple a piece of string or ribbon at the fold of your first piece of paper. Pull the two ends of your first strip down to make a heart shape. Add additional hearts by stapling the new heart you are going to make to the existing heart at the fold. Staple about 1/4″ up on the paper at the fold to make the top of the heart. See the pictures below!
Once you have enough hearts staple a piece of ribbon or string to the end of your final heart.
Hang and enjoy!
