A Tribute to Mom

With Mother’s day coming this weekend, I decided to celebrate my mom, and moms everywhere. Take some time to appreciate your mom or anyone that has been a mom to you throughout the years. Take some time to send a card, make a call, say a prayer, speak a word of encouragement, give a hug. I decided to write a poem for my mom….Love you mom!

Spiritual, alive
Networking genius
A will to survive

Patient listener
Always ready with advice
Wise counselor
Full potential helped realize

Family fun on holidays
Generations of gourmet cooks
Tradition of an open home
Lover of reading books

Great travel buddy
Forever friend
Even in her golden years
Life adventures never end

To her granddaughters and me

Is her constant plea
